Welcome to Pug Pals!

Why adopt a pug? Because they are pleasant,
perky, playful, priceless and practically perfect!

About Us

We are a group of volunteers based out of the greater Boise, ID area who are dedicated to rescuing and rehoming pug and pug crosses who find themselves in need. Are you looking for a furry new member of your family? If so, we invite you to view the pugs who are currently available for adoption by selecting the Pugs tab above then the Available Pugs link. Please consider becoming involved with our group. You can help us by volunteering your talents, giving us your time and/or supporting us with a tax-deductible donation. To meet some eligible foster dogs, join us at the next Pug Club Meetup! You’ll find the dates in our Calendar.

Our Mission

“To prevent cruelty to Pugs and their crosses by rescuing them from dangerous situations; to relieve owners, whose circumstances have forced them to relinquish their pet(s); to provide emergency medical care, when required; and to educate current and potential Pug owners in the form of workshops and one-on-one meetings, ensuring the well-being and a healthy quality-of-life for the animal.”

Company Overview

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and placing Pugs in “forever homes.” At this time, we are a completely volunteer run organization and all Pugs are placed in foster homes until loving forever homes can be found. We rescue all Pugs regardless of medical needs and do our best to provide for them with our limited resources.

Our Thanks to…

....Louis D. Wiyono, Creative Director, at Wizmaya Design Studio for designing our adorable Pug Pals logo as part of their Logo for Charity program. As a non profit group dependent on donations to care for the many pugs that come to us in need of new homes, we had no budget for a logo and couldn’t possibly be more thrilled with the work that was done for us.

…Also a big round of applause to Tricia Fitzgerald at WetYellowDog for designing our website and keeping us professional and up to date! Her guidance is invaluable in sorting out what was important to our rescue. Having a website is a critical element of any business's success today and something we as a small non-profit could never afford to do on our budget so we could not be more grateful.
